Girls Player of the
Year
Alannah Vincent, Northview, Forward, Senior
Vincent scored a team-high 23 goals and had seven
assists in leading the Cougars to a 16-3-2 record.
Her 66 career goals is the most in school history.
She played six seasons for the Cougars. A two-sport
star who also made Super 12 in basketball.
Girls Coach of the
Year
Jay Bruner, Northview
Veteran coach led Northview to a 16-3-2 record,
which tied the school record (2001) for best in
school history. Team earned a state playoff berth.
Alannah Vincent says of her coach: “It was great to
play for him. He’s very calm, but always keeps us in
line and tells us what we need to do.”

Boys Player of the Year
Ben Maxham, Enterprise, Senior Forward
The senior forward led the team with 30 goals while
serving as a team captain for the Wildcats, which
finished with an 18-2-1 record. Maxham will continue
his career at Lipscomb University in Nashville.On
being chosen Player of the Year: "I didn't expect
it. It's flattering. it's sad to leave the guys, but
I'm looking forward to college."
Coach of the Year
Nathan Wallace, Providence Christian
Wallace led the Eagles to their first playoff
appearance and winning record (12-5) in his third
season as coach. Providence beat UMS Wright,
Bayside, Houston Academy and Northview all for the
first time this season.On the season: "I just felt
like the kids really responded. We kept it fun, but
played hard at the same time."

Boys Soccer
- Ben Maxham,
Enterprise, Senior Forward:Scored 30 goals to
lead the Wildcats, who finished with an 18-2-1
mark. Team Captain.
- Connor
McDermott, Enterprise, Junior Midfielder:
Led the Wildcats with 26 assists and also scored
12 goals. Very athletic playmaker.
- Garrison
Brooks, Carroll (Ozark), Senior Midfielder:
Led the team with 22 goals and 14 assists. Team
captain and voted team MVP.
- Tyler
Hohbach, Carroll (Ozark), Senior Defender:
Helped the team record nine shutouts in 21
games. Was team's defensive MVP.
- Michael
Cone, Northview, Senior Defender: A strong
defender for the Cougars, who made the playoffs
with a 12-12 record.
- Trevor
Parrish, Northview, Senior Forward: Scored
18 goals in 24 games with six assists. Will play
college soccer at Chaminade in Hawaii.
- Devon
Fields, Dothan, Junior Forward: Led the team
with 18 goals. A speedy player who also
contributed two assists.
- Brian
Easler, Dothan, Senior Goalkeeper: Recorded
nine shutouts in goal. Gave up 22 goals in 19
games (1.16 pg). Had 57 saves.
- Andy Hebert,
Providence Christian, Senior Forward: Scored 13
goals with six assists to lead Providence. Was a
team captain.
- Matthew
Leonard, Providence Christian, Junior
Stopper: A strong defensive player and
all-around leader. Scored two goals with two
assists.
- Jeff Sirkis,
Houston Academy, Senior Midfielder: Scored five
goals, second best on the team, with an assist.
Strong leader on the field.
- Caleb
Woodcock, Houston Academy, Sophomore
Midfielder: Scored a team-high six goals and
added three assists. A real playmaker for the
Raiders.
