FAIRHOPE – The Fourth Annual Battle of the Bay Charity Soccer Showcase is set for Friday at W.C. Majors Field at Volanta Park in Fairhope.

The Showcase will feature the best high school soccer players from Baldwin County against the best from Mobile County coming together to raise money for ‘Kicks For Cancer’ to benefit M.D. Anderson’s Children Hospital. Last year over $3,000 was donated to the hospital.

There will be players from the State Championship teams from Fairhope boys and St.Paul’s girls. State runner- up McGill-Toolen girls and semi-finalists from St. Paul’s boys. The girls game will be at 6 p.m. and the boys game will be at 8 p.m.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for student (K-12). Children under five are admitted free. All area high school and college coaches are also admitted free.

The players have been nominated by their coaches and chosen by an independent committee.
