Friday's
Games Have Been Cancelled Due To Weather |
|
The 2009
Morgan County Tournament will be hosted by
Priceville High School at Decatur's Jack
Allen Soccer Complex. Teams play a
round robin tournament after which two
finalists teams play in the championship
games on Saturday afternoon, April 11th.
The participating teams are the boys and
girls teams of Austin, Brewer, Danville, Decatur,
Hartselle, Priceville and West Morgan.
The 2009 schedule is shown below. Halves are 30
minutes each in the round robins. The
finals will be 40 minutes each.

The point system will
be as follows:

WIN = 6
points + goals scored (3 max.)
-
TIE = 3
points + goals scored (3 max.)
-
LOSS = 0
points (no points will be given for a
loss, regardless of goals scored)
-
SHUTOUT =
1 point
-
FORFEIT =
1-0 victory (8 points total)
-
Top two
teams (in points) advance to finals.
